Physical quantities are divided into,
* Fundamental quantities
* Derived quantities
These are explained below with their differences:
Fundamental quantities are quantities which cannot be expressed in terms of any other physical quantity.They are independent of one another. Eg: length, mass, time, temperature,etc.,
Derived quantities are quantities that can be expressed in terms of fundamental quantities. These quantities depends on Fundamental quantities. Eg: Area, volume, density etc.,
