Physics is the science of everything. It is the ancient, endless quest to understand the fundamental processes of  reality itself, at every level from the subatomic to the macrocosmic.Physics is very important to understand the world around us, the world inside us, and the world beyond us. It is the most basic and fundamental science. Physics encompasses the study of the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles. Moreover, it's the basis of many other sciences, including chemistry, oceanography, seismology, and astronomy. The depth and reach of physics support developments in every field of scientific endeavour: medical breakthroughs, technological innovation, startling advancements in manufacturing, materials, communications, energy, environmental protection and much more. It informs and refines our understanding of existence, and our place within it, constantly opening up new views of possibility for the human community and for individual lives.
The importance of physics isn't limited to the "hard sciences." Increasingly, physicists are turning their talents to molecular biology, biochemistry, and biology itself. Physics also developed many new technologies such as Cell phones, the Internet that have revolutionized our world. A physics education equips a person to work in many different and interesting places: in industrial and government labs, on college campuses, in the astronaut corps, etc.,
